Being invited into someone's home is a privilege. We're so grateful we can provide our clients with the services necessary to enable them to remain in the place Mary Baker Eddy referred to as "the dearest spot on earth" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 58).
As we've continued to pray about the next logical step in our progress, the idea of a residence for Home Care for Christian Scientists Inc. keeps resurfacing.Here's how it would work: we would buy a house and convert it into temporary living quarters for a modest number of clients. In addition we would be provided with needed office space. Once we had a model up and running, it could be duplicated anywhere in the country.
We understand that this would be a major project, requiring a significant investment of time and money. However, it's an idea that has met with overwhelming approval from some clients and the Christian Science field in general. Currently, we're looking for assistance and information in the following areas:
a) Funding opportunities you know of.
b) Real Estate management and zoning in your area.
c) Available residences in your area.
