Home Care for Christian Scientists Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization. Our ministry includes providing the practical care and support necessary for an individual to
remain at home while relying on Christian Science for healing. We often work alongside a Christian Science nurse and others already involved with providing assistance.We began operations in 1992, and since then we've been working principally in the Boston area. Over the last few years, Home Care for Christian Scientists Inc. has been taking steps toward becoming a national organization. Our goal is to support local Christian Science groups around the country that are endeavoring to serve their community by addressing the growing need for home care services.
Home Care for Christian Scientists Inc. has four main functions:
1. To act as a network for individuals and organizations everywhere who are committed to providing assistance within the home. Many church care committees and organizations have already undertaken this loving work, and we support all existing organizations as "partners."To help accomplish our goals, we are working to employ the latest in communications technology. Many people have brought to our attention how challenging it can be to find
2. To advocate a stronger network of home aides everywhere, offering training seminars at various locations around the country.
3. To provide information and education about home care. We plan to have the latest books and bulletins on hand, as well as facts concerning insurance for Christian Scientists.
4. To develop a benevolence fund, enabling us to meet the needs of individuals who cannot afford home care.
